Placed in a medieval setting, Berserk tells the story of a younger Guts [The Main Character, and a black swordsman] and the charismatic Griffith. A 100 year war rages between the kingdom of Midland and the empire of Chuder. Among the many armies, there is one group which shines above the rest: The Band of the Hawk. This elite mercenary group on the side of Midland is known as “death on the battlefield.” Griffith, the leader of this group, is pursuing his dream and nothing will come in his way, especially with Guts at his side. As soon as they meet, the wheels of fate are set in motion and nothing will ever be the same.
